Flight Services - Student Help Opportunities
Join the Flight Services team to support uniform distribution and program operations for the Winter 2026 term!
These are paid opportunities open to Flight Services students currently in semesters 1 to 3 who are ready to take part in an important part of the student experience — uniform distribution and program support.
Flight Services Uniform Assistant (FSUA) – 2 positions
Term Duration: 8 weeks
Schedule:
Tuesdays to Thursdays, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (20 hrs/week) but subject to change and availability
Start Date: TBD (pending approval)
Pay: Paid (hourly rate to be confirmed)
Duties Include:
Assist with fittings, distribution, and uniform inventory
Help manage the rush of new students needing uniforms
Support FSPAs and help fill the gap for still unclaimed uniforms from previous term
May assist with other department initiatives as required
ELIGIBILITY:
Current Flight Services (FLS or FSO) student in semester 1, 2 and 3
Strong organizational and communication skills
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, student-facing environment
Passion for contributing to your program and supporting peers
Flight Services Program Assistant Intern
Duration: Winter Term, January - April
Support the Flight Services Program Assistant (FSPA) with the coordination of the uniform program, including assisting with fittings, distribution, and basic inventory tasks:
Assist in supporting and guiding Uniform Assistants under the direction of the FSPA
Work alongside the Social Media team to support content creation and assist with posting program-related content on social media platforms
Provide support during Seneca and Flight Services events, including Open House, Alumni Events, and Experience Seneca
Serve as a peer-to-peer mentor and approachable resource for new and continuing students, under the guidance of the FSPA
Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment by encouraging collaboration and community engagement
Interact with students to support program involvement and enhance overall student life
Assist in reporting simulator and equipment issues through the Flight Hub Defect Logbook
Support the reinforcement of uniform standards and professionalism in alignment with industry expectations
